Dr Jennifer Rudd
Senior Lecturer in Innovation and Engagement at Swansea University
Dr Rudd has a decade of experience working in chemistry and the technical circular economy, developing next generation solar panels and working on hydrogen generation and carbon capture.
Using this knowledge, Dr Rudd developed the You and CO2 programme in 2018, seeking to teach young people about climate mitigation. Since then, she has worked on a number of climate change education programmes across the disciplines, age ranges and countries. She has helped train teachers in Nigeria, co-created a programme for Welsh primary school pupils to learn about fast fashion, co-developed a new scale for measuring climate capability and consulted for a range of third sector and educational institutions on climate change education programmes.
Dr Rudd is a member of the Net Zero by 2035 commission, advising Welsh Government on pathways to Net Zero, she has been invited to present her work in the Senedd and at trade events in London.
Dr Rudd has communicated the climate emergency through national talks, radio and printed media and gave a TEDx talk in 2019. She is regularly invited to give talks on climate change mitigation and climate change education and was nominated for two Swansea University awards in 2020.

Francisco Urquiza
Deputy Director of Teaching and an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Sustainable Development at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Francisco Urquiza is the Deputy Director of Teaching and an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Sustainable Development at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With over a decade of experience in sustainability in higher education, he specializes in the formation of change agents and the governance of socio-ecological systems.
From 2011 to 2016, Francisco led the Office of Sustainability at his university, a pioneering initiative in Chile that shaped institutional approaches to sustainability. He is a founding member and former president of the Chilean Sustainable Campus Network (Red Campus Sustentable), promoting collaboration and innovation across universities in the region.
Francisco holds an MSc in Ecosystem Services from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His work focuses on advancing sustainability education and fostering transformative action for a more sustainable future.

Lauren Saunders
Sustainable food co-ordinator, sustainable food partnership
Lauren is the Sustainable Food Coordinator for Bridgend County Borough, working to co-produce a strategy for Bridgend. Over the past year in the role, Lauren has used collaborative community approaches to systems development, working across the key areas of the Sustainable Food Places framework including creating a good food movement in Bridgend, developing healthy food for all and transforming catering and procurement.
Lauren is passionate about food sustainability, Previously, working for FareShare Cymru a surplus food redistribution charity. The role gave me her opportunity to work directly with community food projects in Wales that provide food access to those that need it most. Before that Lauren was busy running her community focused food business, Wild Thing, a plant-based pay what you can café that sourced local organic seasonal food. She is passionate about good food for all.
Lauren believes in the power of food for the health of ourselves and the planet.

Rory Hill
Sustainability Project Manager for the Central & South Scotland College Partnership
Over the past 3 years Rory has worked across three regional Scottish Colleges - Borders College, Forth Valley College and West Lothian College.
Together these Colleges formed the Central & South Scotland College Partnership, which came together to acquire Rory's role as a shared resource to help the Colleges to deliver more sustainability-related projects using the limited resources they have available.
Rory is hosted by EAUC and works on behalf of the Colleges, giving a unique insight into both the Colleges' experience and EAUC's work. This has helped to keep the Colleges up-to-date with the latest developments and resources and provides EAUC with sector examples, feedback and connections.
Before joining EAUC Rory worked in domestic and large-scale renewables and has an Environment, Culture & Society MSc and Geography MA.

Gabi Hentschke
Humber Polytechnic, Canada
Gabi Hentschke is the Sustainability Communications & Engagement Coordinator at Humber Polytechnic's Office of Sustainability, where she is responsible for the coordination of events and communications that promote sustainability at the institution. Humber Polytechnic is listed as one of Canada's greenest employers.
Through her work, she seeks to connect students who are passionate about sustainability with opportunities and with one another, building a connected community based on respect for the planet and its inhabitants.
Gabi has special interest in youth leadership, food justice, and urban agriculture. She is co-chair of the GARDENS Advisory Council, providing leadership and guidance for the GARDENS Lakeshore project in her neighbourhood. Originally from Brazil, Gabi graduated from Humber with a Bachelor of International Development.

Chris Long
Head of Sustainability, Bridgend College, Wales UK
Chris is the Head of Sustainability at Bridgend College where he is responsible for strategic vision and planning for sustainability across all functions of the organisation. With over 30 years experience within the private and public sectors Chris has played a pivotal role in the development and delivery of net zero, wellbeing and sustainability including working with specialist groups both at home and internationally to support a transition to a fairer, greener economy.
During the past few years he has helped Bridgend College achieve several awards and recognition for climate action, including both the UK Green Gown Awards and the International Green Gown Awards. Bridgend College has also been awarded the Visionary Commendation for Sustainability by the Welsh Government.
Chris holds an MSc in Environmental Decision Making and is currently working with local councils and groups to support development of regional climate risk strategies. He is also an active member of the WFCP Sustainable Development Goals Affinity Group to advance the awareness and adoption of the SDGs as integral to technical and vocational education and training (TVET) learning.

Steven England
The Art of Sustainability: A collaborative social enterprise for planet, people & prosperity
Steven England is an experienced practitioner and guide in both Meditation and Mindfulness certified to Teach .b (11-18) Mindfulness in Schools (MiSP). The Wellness of Being® (WoB) is Steve's methodology emerging through his phenomenological & arts based Research in Action employing pedagogical, social prescribing (specifically meditation & mindfulness) and biophilic methods for delivering Well Being within the Framework of Sustainability.
He is a Gaia Education Certified Trainer in both the Social and Worldview Dimensions; Gaia Education was a Key Partner for UNESCO's Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development. He is a Carbon Literacy Facilitator with The Carbon Literacy Project (CL) recognised by the UN at COP21 and has blended his WoB methodology with Carbon Literacy as part of his Carbon Literacy & Well Being for Organisations course.
He developed the What is Sustainability course? also blending WoB Methodology delivered through the Bridgend Community College. Steve's strong interdisciplinary skills to facilitate and consult across many sectors equips him to deliver the behavioural change required for Sustainability Change Agents.
He works through The Art of Sustainability a collaborative social enterprise for planet, people & prosperity towards Well Being for all life on Earth whose mission is to be a creative Forum towards Sustainability through educational events, facilitation and consultation.
